The project envisions an interactive architectural centre that fosters connections between the community, architects, and architecture students. It aims to act as a bridge, offering diverse opportunities for engagement, learning, and collaboration. Beyond its primary role, the centre also responds to and serves the needs of its surrounding context.

The architectural concept design process merges the fluidity of the river’s flow with the solidity of the cube, representing the essence of Mesopotamian cities, by allowing the smooth, dynamic movement of the river to intersect with the cube’s rigidity, contributing to the re-forming of the cube by creating a seamless and well-defined cavity. This interaction symbolises the enduring resilience of Mesopotamian architecture, which adapted to external forces while maintaining its core identity.
